The amended policy for 'National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Guidelines on Incentives for Students' Excellent Resear

1. To improve operational efficiency in implementing awards and streamline the application process, the guidelines for " National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Guidelines on Incentives for Students' Excellent Research Results " under Item 5, "Journal Papers," have been revised as follows:
(1) Adjust the award criteria to include only " the university's high-impact journals and the key journals for each college."
(2) Modify the award standard from using the "RF value" to using the "JIF Percentile" to reduce time spent on calculations.
2. This proposal was approved during the 2nd administrative meeting of the 113th academic year and will apply to applications for journal articles published or accepted after 2025. (If a student has submitted their work before the date of this announcement, and the journal article is published or accepted after 2025, they may provide proof showing the submission date was prior to the announcement. Such cases will still be accepted.)
3. Attached is the full text of the amended guidelines.
