Ms. Joanne Kwan of CIRIA (Construction Industry Research and Information Association) of the United Kingdom gave a one-day seminar "Risk Assessment and Management of PFAS (Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) in Soil and Water" on 29th November 2024. The seminar was well attended by researchers and practitioners interested in PFAS all over Taiwan.

Professor Maria D. Kennedy, Chair of Water Supply Engineering Group, IHE Delft Institute of Water Education, presented a seminar on "Assessing Biofouling Potential through Seawater Reverse Osmosis Pre-treatment" to the Institute of Environmental Engineering on 6th December 2024. After the seminar, the delegation visited TSMC Research Center and our Disaster Prevention and Water Environment Research Center at Boai Campus.
